about

Let's face it: I'm past the age where I make music to become rich and famous. Today, it's almost a form of self-therapy, a way of exploring new territories of the imagination and finding buried emotions. But also to understand and tame my creative processes.

Shortly after releasing the soundtrack from The Wreck, I went back into my archives to find the many ideas I'd discarded nearly 3 years ago. I'm convinced that the soundtrack is made up of the correct choices, but I thought it would be interesting to show what the leftovers sounded like.

Some of these productions didn't reflect the desired emotion for a given scene in the game, and others didn't generally correspond to the general direction of the soundtrack. And yet I still remember why, at the time, most of them seemed to work.

None of this is very polished, of course, I've stopped at intentions most of the time and I didn't want to alter anything after the facts. You'll maybe also see how this exercise allowed me to grow as a musician - where I started from. I hope you'll find it as interesting as I do, let’s imagine together what The Wreck OST could have been.
